Spring Action Weekend

Saturday 30th – Sunday 31st March 2019

The first of our Gallery Rifle Meetings 2019 – Spring Action Weekend – kicks off the season with a weekend full of shooting fun.

Packed full of competitions, this weekend offers you the chance to shoot a wide range of disciplines including:

• Gallery Rifle & Pistol
• Target Shotgun
• Civilian Service Rifle

Added extras:

Aside from the GR&P events on Melville, Butt Zero hosts the Target Shotgun matches on Saturday in addition to the exhilarating Speed Steels running until mid-afternoon.

The Practical Pistol Match (part of the NRA Handgun League) is shot on Butt Zero on Sunday 31st.

Short Siberia features the multi-positional fullbore shooting events are shot beside the 200x McQueen matches on the Saturday.

The popular Mini McQueen runs throughout the weekend on Time Limit.

Entries in person from competition reception will be accepted across the weekend subject to availability.

Range Crew Sign-Up:

Without dedicated volunteers this and may other competitions would not be able to field the amount of competitors wanting to take part. You can help out for as little as half a day, or if you fancy it – the whole weekend!

Range Crew typically take on the following roles:

• Range Officers
• Range Crew – On the range helping to reface targets, clear rifles etc.
• Stats
• Markers

Looking to improve your Skills?

Throughout 2019 two types of Gallery Rifle Skills Courses will be on offer; an Introduction to Gallery Rifle, and specific Skills Development Courses. These will be held both at Bisley and other venues across the UK.
