Danger area: No Danger Area (NDA)

Distance: 5m – 25m


  • Bay A – 10 ISSF targets (2x banks of 5)
  • Bay B – 20 Turning targets (4x banks of 5)
  • Bay C – 2 Overhead Retrievable Targets

Additional notes:

  • Bay A – Only to be used by GB Pistol team and Troops to targets.
  • Bay B – Night Shooting Permitted
  • Bay C – Suitable for wheelchair users
  • Heated clubroom and ancilliary facilities.

Opening Times

The Ranges are open every day except for Mondays. Start and end times are signalled by
the hooter. The times vary as follows:

Low Season

Follows Greenwich Mean Time dates

08.30-12.30 & 13.30-16.00
(dependent on light)

08.30-12.30 & 13.30-16.00
(dependent on light. 1630 from March)

High Season

Follows British Summer Time dates

08.30-12.30 & 13.30-16.30

08.30-12.30 & 13.30-17.30

Bay A
Type: Target Pistol Only:
a. Pardini .22 and .32 conversion kit
b. Walther SSP/SSPE .22
c. Fienwerkbau AW93 .22
Special Requirements (permission required):
• Only the CE can permit firearms other than .22/.32 target pistol.

Bay B & C
Type: Gallery Rifles and Pistols
• Maximum Muzzle Velocity: 655 m/s (2150 ft/s)
• Maximum Muzzle Energy: 2030 J (1496 ft lb)
Not Permitted:
• 22 Hornet
• .17 HMR
