Only 30 miles from central London, and easily accessible by road, the National Shooting Centre at Bisley has been the home of shooting since 1890 and has promoted and encouraged marksmanship for over 100 years. As part of this home the NCSC offers world class clay shooting facilities for all shooting disciplines and hosts international competitions.

72 Mattarelli traps and offer impressive facilities for clay shooters of all abilities. The facilities include computer controlled scoring, trap sequencing, acoustic release (on all Trap layouts) and covered stands.

The NCSC has an exemption certificate, which allows those individuals who do not possess a shotgun licence to shoot under supervision. If you do require supervision, this will be charged at £80.00 (Tue-Fri) and £95.00 (Sat-Sun) per hour. This includes use of the clubs equipment and up to 75 cartridges and clays.

We are open 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday inclusive 9am until 4:30pm (last rounds).

No, but we recommend that everyone who wants to shoot at the NCSC call us on 01483 797666 before they attend. As we sometimes host corporate hospitality groups, tuition, courses and competitions, this can limit what we have available in terms of practice ranges.

When you reach the NCSC you must sign in at reception and pay for your practice sessions, or meet your instructor. Practice sessions are purchased as tokens from the reception desk. These tokens can then be used on any of our practice ranges.

As stated previously, people without their own shotgun certificate and shotgun may only shoot at the NCSC complex under supervision. A group of up to 3 novices can be taken for one to one tuition by our Instructor. Any larger, from 4 to 6 individuals, and the group will be regarded as a corporate hospitality function and the group will be given a fun shoot with adaptions of the formal disciplines. Three instructors will be supplied for a maximum of 18 individuals.

We provide gift vouchers for clay shooting instruction at a price of £87.50. This includes one to one tuition with a NCSC instructor and up to 75 cartridges and clays, safety equipment and shotgun. Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months.

As per the NRA Range regulations the minimum age is 14.

If you shoot sporting clays the favoured discipline is English Skeet.

Yes we can provide a function room to either host a meeting or run a course. Our in house caterer can provide a selection of menus to suit all tastes and budgets.
