I’m delighted to have been appointed GB Handgun Team Captain for the Australian Tour to the WA1500 World Championships. They are being held at the Yarra Pistol Club near Melbourne from the 8th to the 16th October 2027. I am now inviting applications to be part of the squad. Applicants will need to be full NRA members. As with all Gallery Rifle and Pistol Team GB roles, the 3 C’s will be used as a guidance for selection.

Capability – applicants will be regular handgun shooters, either LPB/LBR in the UK or PPC1500 in Europe and be able to perform in competition at a high level.

Consistency – applicants will be able to perform at that level consistently and have achieved it across recent competitions.

Commitment – applicants will be expected to commit to the Tour, contributing through training and fund raising and being an ambassador and role model for GB and the NRA.

Please send a summary supporting your application or with any questions to gallery@nra.org.uk
