About
The 300m Championships comprises of two competitions run across a single weekend, the first for Standard (or Target) rifles, and the second for Free rifle. Each competition comprises of 60 shots in 1 hour + 15 minutes for sighting.
Rifle Classes:
ISSF Free Rifles: Maximum weight of 8kg, no trigger weight limitation other than being safe
Standard Rifle: Maximum weight of 5.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg
NRA Target Rifle: As per paragraph 150 of the NRA Handbook: Maximum weight 6.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg

All ISSF events qualify for British Records
Ammunition: Maximum calibre 8mm but subject to Range Safety Rules
