What is the Youth Pathway?
The National Rifle Association (NRA) are committed in growing the sport of target shooting, with particular interest in creating exciting, meaningful opportunities for Young Shooters – those under the age of 25. We are aware of the growing boundaries that limit the participation such as equipment cost, range accessibility and training requirements. Our wider Youth Pathway aims to support young people in a variety of roles within the sport.
Our key objectives are:
– Promote the skills of: Discipline, Marksmanship, Leadership and Communication within Young Shooters
– Increase the accessibility of target shooting on a local and national scale
– Showcase initiatives including the Young Shooters’ Fund that offer support structures for Young Shooters
– Organise youth-centred target shooting events across multiple disciplines
– Highlight the diversity of roles within the sport including: Shooting, Coaching, Volunteering, Team Management, Range Safety, Firearm Maintenance

Individuals, as well as clubs, schools, associations, teams and groups may be eligible for the fund.

– Free membership for those under 21 (with a one-off admin fee upon sign up)
