I can confirm that

  • Pressure tests of GGG 2019 conducted by both the manufacturer and Birmingham Proof House Laboratory confirmed the pressures are below the permitted limits for Ptmax.

Whilst there have been an unacceptable number of incidents related to extractors during the Meeting, the GGG 2019 issued ammunition has, since first sale in April 2019, been fired safely in over 1,000 different rifles.

  • Competitors in the St George’s and Queen’s Prize finals on Saturday 27th July 2019 will be issued with GGG 2015. This high quality ammunition has been selected to minimise the risk of extractor problems causing disruption to the firers, and ensure fair competition.
