I am honoured and delighted to have been appointed as Captain of the NRA Team to the Channel Islands in 2024. I am very pleased to be joined on the Management team by Becky Laird (Ulster and Ireland) as Vice-Captain and Martin Liversage (Lancashire, England and Great Britain) as Adjutant.

The specific tour dates will be confirmed in due course but are likely to fall between 23rd May and 5th June 2024. A training programme in readiness for the tour to Jersey and Guernsey will start in Autumn 2023.

I intend to select a team who has not previously toured with the NRA to the Channel Islands, regardless of experience level. I aim to take a team to be competitive against Jersey and Guernsey, and am looking for those aspiring to County, National and International representation.

If you wish to apply for the tour, please send an expression of interest requesting an application form to liam_cheek@hotmail.co.uk.

The closing date for applications is 31st July 2023, after which the squad and reserves will be selected prior to training commencing in the Autumn.

I appreciate that we may not have met previously, so please introduce yourself to me on the range, or alternatively I can usually be found at either hut G4 or at the Old Guildfordians Rifle Club (to the right of Fultons) during the Imperial Meeting when not on the range.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Liam Cheek (London, Ireland and Great Britain)
