Firearm Classes

Given the diverse nature of the discipline you will find examples of all types of shotguns.

The league rules offer competitions in the following classes:

Open: No restrictions on sights or action type

Standard: Semi-auto , tube magazine no optical sights

Standard Manual: Manual action only, tube magazine no optical sights

📅 Shotgun Dates 2024

The dates for the 2024 Season are to be confirmed:

  • Round 1: Sunday 10th March (TS Festival Spring): National Shooting Centre, Bisley
  • Round 2: Saturday 11th May: Sterling Sports
  • Round 3: Sunday 7th July: Sterling Sports
  • Round 4: Saturday 20th – Sunday 21st July: Lumley Ranges: Dartford
  • Round 5: Friday 16th – Sunday 18th August (Cottesloe Heath Challenge): National Shooting Centre, Bisley
  • Round 6: Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September: Lumley Ranges: Dartford
  • Round 7: Sunday 6th October TS Festival (Autumn): National Shooting Centre

🏅 Awards

Awards are presented for final league standings, typically in the Spring of the following year.

NRA medals are presented to the top placed competitors in each handgun class. The amount of medals presented depends on the amount of competitors in each class over the league’s season:

  • 2+ competitors – Gold medal awarded
  • 6+ competitors – Gold and Silver medals awarded
  • 11+ competitors – Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded
