Firearm Classes

Given the diverse nature of the discipline you will find examples of all types of shotguns.

The league rules offer competitions in the following classes:

Open: No restrictions on sights or action type

Standard: Semi-auto , tube magazine no optical sights

Standard Manual: Manual action only, tube magazine no optical sights

Shotgun Dates 2026

The dates for the 2026 Season are to be confirmed:

• Round 1: Sunday 8th March (TS Festival Spring): National Shooting Centre, Bisley
• Round 2: Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June (Cottesloe Heath Challenge): National Shooting Centre, Bisley
• Round 3: Sunday 4th October TS Festival (Autumn): National Shooting Centre

 Awards

Awards are presented for final league standings, typically in the Spring of the following year.

NRA medals are presented to the top placed competitors in each handgun class. The amount of medals presented depends on the amount of competitors in each class over the league’s season:

• 2+ competitors – Gold medal awarded
• 6+ competitors – Gold and Silver medals awarded
• 11+ competitors – Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded
