Mr Eric Thompson of the Launceston VDC rifle Club Tasmania, one of the finest Australian fullbore shooters has just passed age 92.

Eric competed at Bisley in 1964 and was coach of the Famous 1976 Australian rifle team which won all team matches.

A toolmaker by trade, a brilliant gunsmith and a true gentleman, and made many friends, too many to mention.Β  A very sad loss indeed.

Eric was born on the 7/02/1930 and passed away on 4/11/2022.
