Looking to expand your shooting knowledge or join a club that accommodates Gallery Rifle & Pistol shooting? This course will introduce you to specific techniques needed for Gallery Rifle and Pistol shooting at a Club level, as well as providing guidance to those wishing to progress into competitive shooting.

 

Gallery Rifles: You can attend even if you are not yet in possession of a suitable rifle – although we do encourage you to bring your own so you can become more proficient with it. Rifle can be hired in advance via this booking form, these will be brought to the range for you.
Long-Barrelled Pistol or Revolver: If you are in possession of an LBP or LBR the course will be suitable for you, we do not however hire out these firearms. NRA members are welcome to attend, as are Non-NRA members providing they are a full member of a Home Office approved club affiliated to the NRA. An additional membership fee will also be applicable to and non-NRA entrants.

John Crathorne

John Crathorne (C3 1942-47) died in February this year, aged 96.  Born in Wiltshire, he was happily educated at Marlborough College, benefitting particularly from encouraging introduction to both History and Classical music that stayed with him throughout his life. He sang with the Choral Society and enjoyed all sports in particular Hockey, Cricket and Rugby
