Team invitation

I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed Captain to the GB Rifle Team to Canada in 2026. I am further grateful for the support and guidance of my management team:

Vice Captain: John Ritchie, Gloucestershire, England and GB

Adjutant: Ian Ashworth, Gloucestershire, England and GB

Main Coach: Reg Roberts, Sussex, England and GB.

Details of the tour are being arranged, but we will leave in early August for a tour lasting around three weeks and will encompass a provincial meeting prior to the DCRA matches in Ottawa (or possibly Borden).

I would like to select an accomplished team from all home countries, and all ages, of experienced and new caps, able to compete at the highest level and win both the Commonwealth and Canada Matches (with the possibility of an America Match too).

Applications are invited to join an initial training group from which the final touring party will be selected in August 2025.  I anticipate some training sessions in both 2025 and 2026.

Early applications are encouraged: please contact: captain@gbcanada26.org.uk
