We deeply regret to inform you that Geoff Cox GM has passed away, aged 81, following a prolonged fight against prostate cancer. Geoff is one of just three people who has won both HM The Queen’s Medal for the Royal Air Force and HM the Queen’s Prize. When he won HM the Queen’s Prize in 1986, he was the first person to win using a stiff action rifle in the Final Stage.

Geoff is dearly missed and we offer our sympathy and condolences to his wife, family and friends at this sad time.

A full obituary will be published in the Winter Journal.
