300m Championship


About

The 300m Championships comprises of two competitions run across a single weekend, the first for Standard (or Target) rifles, and the second for Free rifle. Each competition comprises of 60 shots in 1 hour + 15 minutes for sighting.

 

Rifle Classes: 

  • ISSF Free Rifles: Maximum weight of 8kg, no trigger weight limitation other than being safe
  • Standard Rifle: Maximum weight of 5.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg
  • NRA Target Rifle: As per paragraph 150 of the NRA Handbook: Maximum weight 6.5kg, minimum trigger weight of 1.5kg

Rules:

  • In all events ISSF clothing rules will apply, except for NRA TR Rifles – View ISSF Rules HERE
  • All ISSF events qualify for British Records
  • Ammunition: Maximum calibre 8mm but subject to Range Safety Rules

🏅 Awards

NRA medals are awarded to the top placed competitors in each event. The amount of medals presented depends on the amount of entries:

  • 2+ competitors – Gold medal awarded
  • 6+ competitors – Gold and Silver medals awarded
  • 11+ competitors – Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded
