About
The Imperial Meeting is the pinnacle of the Civilian Service Rifle calendar. Competitions take place from 25-500x testing every aspect of a competitorsâ skill.
You can compete in on of four classes:
- Historic:Â Any SMLE/ No.4/ No. 5 rifle, service pattern as issued, with no attachments
- Iron: Any rifle with iron sights, with no restriction on slings (but rests may not be used)
- Service Optic: Any rifle with optic sights with no restriction on slings. Rests may not be used. (Any vertical or angled fore grip, if fitted, may be used)
- Practical Optic: Any rifle with optic sights, with no restriction on slings or rests. If any rest is utilised it must remain fitted to the rifle at all times during the match

Awards
Medals are awarded to the top scoring competitors for each match, in each class, subject to the amount of entries. Prizegiving follows the individual part of the meeting – typically the Saturday evening.
- 2+ competitors â Gold medal awarded
- 6+ competitors â Gold and Silver medals awarded
- 11+ competitors â Gold, Silver and Bronze medals awarded
Championship Awards:Â Trophies will be presented to the winners of each class, along with further NRA Medals
