About

The NRA/ARA Adaptive Championships take place at Bisley on Melville Range Complex and is open to any injured Serving or Veteran Service personnel.

The Championship typically comprises three matches:

  • Advancing Target: A rapid-fire match, with targets advancing from 25m
  • Snaps and Rapids: A 3-stage 25m shoot with timed turning targets
  • Mini McQueen: A sniper style match of 10 x 3 sec exposures at irregular intervals from a Mini McQueen Castle, using a scoped .22 RF Rifle

All competitions are designed to be fired from a seated position with support from a bench and rest, but can also be shot in a standing position. .22 Rugger Gallery Rifles are used, which have minimal recoil.
