Civilian Service Rifle Skills Development Course

This one day Civilian Service Rifle Advanced Skills Course is designed to support new and existing competitors improve their positional shooting techniques.

The timing of the course is an ideal preparation for those entering the CSR Imperial Meeting.

 

Course Outline: 

Course highlights include:

  • Application of Fire in each shooting position: Prone, Sitting, Kneeling/Squatting and Standing.
  • Dry Training, including firing and positioning  
  • Test Practices, including shooting the Urban Match under match conditions.

The course involves both classroom and practical range work at 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards, with expert coaching from national and international level shooters.

 

Who can take part?

The course is open to all NRA members including those who do not currently hold an FAC or possess the appropriate firearm.

Non-NRA members can attend providing they have successfully completed the required probationary course, possess an appropriate firearm and pay the additional course fee.

This course can provide a Shooter Certification Card (SCC) assessment if required – therefore if you do not have a ‘Telescope Sighted Rifle” SCC you can enter onto this course.
