I have been honoured by the NRA Council with the Captaincy of the NRA team to the Channel Islands in 2026. I am delighted to announce that Clare Holland, David Colegate and Bruce Winney have agreed to be Vice-Captain, Adjutant and Main Coach respectively.

The provisional tour dates will be from Thursday 21st until Sunday 31st May-26 inclusive and a training programme to prepare for the tour to Jersey and Guernsey will start in the autumn of 2025 and then most likely in March and April-26 culminating in a match against the LMRA on Wednesday 20th May-26.

I intend to assemble a team with a mixture of experienced and developing shooters, of all ages and home nationalities. If you are keen to improve your shooting, take a major step closer to international standards, or feel that you can support the team as an experienced shooter please send in your expressions of interest by email to nraci.2026@yahoo.com and an application form will be sent to you.

Applications will be open until the end of Jul-25, with the team and reserves will be selected in Aug-25.

It would be great to be able to put faces to names as well so please do come and introduce yourself during the Imperial Meeting if not before.

I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you.
