We have been working with the British Shooting Sports Council and other shooting organisations to coordinate responses to the Public Consultation on recommendations for changes to Firearms legislation published by the Home Office.

The NRA’s response can be found: NRA Response – Home Office Firearms Licensing Consultation (final)

Many of the proposals could have serious implications for shooting, and some would be helpful. Members of the target shooting community are encouraged to add their voices by responding to the consultation.

The Public Consultation can be found  https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/firearms-licensing-recommendations-for-changes

Please note the deadline for responses is Wednesday 23 August 2023.
