I am honoured to have been appointed Captain of the Great Britain Under‑25 Target Rifle Team for the Australia Match in October 2026.

I am delighted to be working alongside James Postle as Team Manager and Harriet Bramwell as Assistant Manager, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to the National Rifle Association for selecting me to lead this team.

Applications are now invited from all individuals who are eligible to shoot for Great Britain and who will be under the age of 25 on 18th October 2026, the day of the match.

Applications will close on 1st August 2025.

Following the application process, a squad of 20 will be selected shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 Imperial Meeting. The squad will then attend two selection weekends, one in September and one in October 2025. Based on performance and progress at these weekends, the final team will be selected at the end of October 2025.

The Australia Match will take place in October 2026, with training and travel dates to be confirmed and shared with the selected squad in due course.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a focused, high-performing team representing Great Britain on the international stage. If you meet the eligibility criteria and are motivated to
contribute to the success of this tour, I encourage you to apply.

Applications should be made through the following google form https://forms.gle/uGNcqJyvXKaMPPrv7  no later than 1st August 2025. If you have any questions please contact me at gbu25.australia2026@gmail.com

I look forward to working with James, Harriet, and the wider group of talented young shooters over the coming year as we prepare for this match.
