The NRA has not published any guidance or regulations on the use of muzzle loading firearms on NRA Ranges.  However, the NRA Handbook recognizes Muzzle Loading as a shooting discipline and the MLAGB as the authors of the defining rule set. Following discussion at the NRA Range Safety Committee, the NRA intends to adopt MLAGB Rules and Guidance, in full, commencing 2 Jul 2018.  This will include routine shooting and competition.
