The Disciplinary Body has an important role upholding the Rules of the Association.

We are seeking NRA Members who are lawyers (meaning a person who is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, where or not that person holds a practicing certificate; a member of the Bar of England and Wales; a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives or holds an equivalent certificate in any other jurisdiction) to serve on the Disciplinary Body.

Members of the Disciplinary Body are called upon on an ad hoc basis to consider disciplinary matters and are appointed for a three year term. The NRA Disciplinary Code can be found here.

Candidates for Lawyer Members of the Disciplinary Body must be nominated by a current Member of General Council.

Please complete this form: Nomination of Lawyer Member of the Disciplinary Body and return it to any General Council Member; their contact details can be found here.
