On Monday 9th June, the NRA welcomed over 40 members of the local community for an evening of guided tours around Bisley Camp.

Visitors had the opportunity to explore the historic site on foot or by electric buggy, guided by members of the NRA team who shared their knowledge, stories and unique perspectives of Bisley. From its rich heritage and landmarks to the camp’s natural landscape, the tours offered a chance to discover what makes Bisley so special. Many of the guests shared their own personal connections and memories of the camp, from childhood visits to family members who worked as markers during competitions. These fascinating anecdotes added to a strong sense of Bisley Camp’s enduring place within the local community.

The success of the event has sparked ideas for future community activities and we look forward to developing these in the months ahead.
