The government intends to ban MARS / Lever release rifles through new legislation in the Offensive Weapons Bill. We have argued that these rifles are particularly suited to those shooters with physical limitation; this has been discounted by the Home Office on the basis that no evidence has been provided to support our assertion.

If you chose to purchase a MARS / Lever release rifle because of some physical limitation then it is vital that this is recorded; please contact Iain Robertson iain.robertson@nra.org.uk if this applies to you. Any background information will be greatly appreciated.

This information will be treated as strictly confidential; any reporting on the survey will be anonymised.
