Shooting Committee has authorised a number of rule changes for the Imperial Meeting.

These have the effect of:

  • Enabling the use of a separate procedure to deal with extractor or extraction failures and their consequences.
  • In issued ammunition competitions, allowing the Ammunition Officer to take all of a competitor’s  issued ammunition for checking (in exchange for a fresh set of ammunition).
  • Allowing entries to the Match Rifle Pairs at any time up to the final opportunity to shoot the competition
  • Allowing overseas clubs who do not maintain affiliation to the NRA to enter teams in matches for affiliated clubs, subject to certain conditions.
