Safety Legal & Technical Services provides advice and assistance to members and affiliated clubs on matters such as:

– Safety policy and best practice

– Development, application and interpretation of rules and procedures

– Operation of the Firearms Acts, including application processes for Certificates and Permits

– Firearm security

– Negotiations with Firearms Licensing Departments, including handling of appeals against revocation or refusal to renew Certificates

– Range design, construction and maintenance

Subsidiary roles that sit with us include:

Secretary to the Shooting Committee; Secretary to the Disciplinary Committee; Editor of the NRA Handbooks (the Bisley Bible); Technical Investigations Co-ordination; assistance with insurance claims; explosives licensing;
