Planning for the 2027 GB Team to Canada 2027 is well underway and we continue to invite Shooters and Coaches to apply for selection to the Team.

We have training and development events planned in 2026 with the first of these planned for the end of March. Although the application window will remain open until the
end of the 2026 King’s Final, early application is encouraged to reap the benefits of the development programme from March.

We currently expect to depart on or around 8 August 2027 and will land back in the UK early on 30 August 2027, so 15 working weekdays for normal annual leave. We will compete in the Nova Scotia Prize Meeting and then go on to compete in the consecutive Ontario Prize Meeting and Dominion of Canada Rifle Association’s Fullbore Rifle Championships. Our Canadian hosts are hoping that the Ontario and DCRA events will return to Connaught in 2027, but we will not know until later in 202

The training and development programme comprises:

    Squad development weekend – 28/29 March 2026

    Team training weekend – 5/6 September 2026

Two training weekends 2027, dates to be arranged

Practice matches 2027, to be arranged

Shooters and/or coaches from all home countries and adult age groups are invited to apply to join the squad from which final selection will be made in July 2026.

Please register your interest by e-mailing Captain@gbcanada27.org.uk
